I didn't really realize the eye of the needle was so large, I just needed some needles and ordered in a hurry. This is one of the rare instances that I was happier with what I got then what I actually thought I ordered! I worked/created/taught at a bead store for 16 years and I never saw needles quite like these, so I have experience in the matter. These little guys are so cool, very sturdy yet flexible. I feel like I found a new toy! Love the little tube they come in too! They are sharp on both ends like another reviewer stated, but that works in my favor for the work I do. I never push a needle through a hole by the top, all needles fine enough to go through tiny holed beads can poke a hole in your fingers on the blunt tip. Very happy with this purchase! I will certainly be buying again!!

Finally a beading needle I can thread the first time, every time! I've tried a number of needles and this is my absolute favorite. The entire thing is the eye and it's sharp on both ends. After years of struggling with beading needles this was a game changer. And, let's face it, threading beading needles doesn't get any easier with age. It's a little bit harder to pull the tail end to get more thread, the thread is going to nestle pretty securely into the notch which means you need to open it and pull the thread free to reposition it. A small price to avoid the frustration of threading in the first place. They seem to hold the point well, I had a fair amount of beading to do on two Christmas socks and I never had to change needles. Reminder though, they are sharp at both ends so you'll want to store them in the vial.
