These work well. They are tight enough to work on all the earrings I've tried, without being too hard to get on and off. The only complaint I have is the diameter is a little large. My earlobes aren't that big and my piercings are closer to the edge of the lobe than normal so the edge of the plastic is slightly visible at some angles. But I think they standard size, I'm just not used to this style of backing. But they do help keep some heavier earrings from tilting forward on my ear and they are comfortable. I have a lot of metal sensitivities and they give me no trouble. Can't beat the price either!

I was so impressed with how easily these earring backs went on to the backside of many of my vintage earrings I have for sale...and then they started breaking as I slid them on. The clear plastic around the silver/gold part of the back popped off of almost every single one, rendering them only halfway useful. Disappointed, would not buy again.
