Just got this set from Lincoln Direct. It is a discontinued model and no longer available at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc., and had my heart set on this model as it got better reviews than one of the newer LG models in cherry red. It is only my first day with my new Love, but I'm really enjoying it. Besides that it looks so pretty, it washes a lot of clothes in one load, and the features are very easy to operate. I did review the manual, which I usually skip, but this is my first front loader and needed to learn. Very intuitive and simple. The dryer is amazing and dries clothes in less than half the time as my other dryer. Haven't tried the steam function yet. The pedastals are great, and offer an amazing amount of storage. I had previously cabinets over my old washer and dryer, and this holds a lot more. However, some of my large bottles of Tide and Mrs. Meyer's laundry detergent would not fit if standing upright. My smaller size Liquid Tide fit in the pedastal upright no problem. The pedastals make loading the washer/dryer a lot easier, too. I like that you know how long each load will take, depending on which cycles you selected. It gives this lovely ringtone sound when it's done, but you know ahead of time how long it will take, because it will show you and count down when you set the washer and the dryer. Much more convenient than constantly running back to the laundry room to see if the clothes are done. True love. And you can't get this low price... or these models in this color... anywhere else that I could find.

My husband was trying to surprise me with this set for Christmas, but after searching at all of our local appliance centers, he found that they weren't available. He then decided he just better tell me and let me do some research. Sure enough we found the best deal here on Amazon through Lincoln Direct.
My plumber had just been to our house to solve a kitchen sink issue and he shared that LG has THE BEST warranty on their products. 10 year warrant on a motor is unheard of he said. He advised us to purchase one of their refrigerators when this one dies. It started making noise the day my "reds" arrived.
I haven't been disappointed in the least bit by the decision to purchase these on Amazon through Lincoln Direct. I hunt for things to try in my new set. Instead of the drawers holding my laundry soaps, I use them to store dirty clothes while one load is washing. Let's just say...that drawer doesn't stay full very long. No laundry basket in front of the washer anymore with dirty clothes.
Oh yah...I am one happy customer all the way around!
