@@@@@ BE AWARE~ Not What It Seems!
The Huge Issue with this elastic cord is that it is NOT Measured (the size of the thread is stated 1MM, but is Much Closer to 0.5MM, half the size which could be described as the circumference) in the apparent standard manner that other very popular brands are measured. Beadalon & Powercord are sold at pretty much all jewelry supply sites, whereas I've never heard of Beadnova until now. Sadly, the reviews on this particular item were too vague so I thought I'd take a chance and try it. As Beadnova stands by their product, I am returning this thread and receiving a refund. But I think it's important that anyone else looking into buying this product gets a proper perspective on exactly what they are receiving. I think that the photo will show the huge difference between the sizes of these different elastic cords which matters greatly when you are using larger beads that are heavier and have larger holes. (1 pic of the cords shows side by side, the other shows a cross section.) Tons of beads come with a minimum size whole of 1mm, and some as you can see in the picture come with 2mm-3mm (not including "Pandora" style beads as that's a totally different idea), so a thread as thin as the Beadnova cannot support a large percentage of the beads that I use. Even doubling the thread, as someone had suggested, will not work properly. I sell my creations and it is Important to me to have the jewelry be as purrfect as I can make it and be aware of possible issues. Please understand, I am not knocking this product, just saying that the way it is being advertised is very misleading. Thank you!

I bought thinking it'd be good for Rave Kandi. Sadly the elastic is too thin and it has broken several times on me. I decided to double up but it still had problems holding and is difficult to tie properly.
It's probably good for other applications but for rave kandi bracelets with pony beads it is not.
